Welcome to the first month of the book club, and I am thrilled to start off with a book that is considered to be a classic: The Year of the Hare.
For those who are not familiar with this book, it is a tale about a Finnish journalist named Kaarlo Vatanen who has become so frustrated with his life and career, and has turned his back on the things that make him unhappy. The thing that causes him to turn his back on his toxic and unhappy life is from the moment he nearly killed a hare with his car. This book is perfect for all of those who are interested in fictional self development and a later stage of coming-of-age.
