Fortunately, there are a lot of options for you out there, and one of the biggest hardware stores, Home Depot, has made its mission to aid you in figuring out your next step with their Path to Pro program. So, what is it?

WHAT IS PATH TO PRO?

Path to Pro is Home Depot’s free training path for anyone exploring the trades. It includes online lessons in key areas, certificates you can earn, a job‑matching network, and scholarships and youth options that help build tomorrow’s workforce.

WHAT ARE THE MAJOR KEY COMPONENTS?

The Skills Program offers free, self‑paced virtual training on safety, tool use, materials, and communication for a variety of trades, while the Path to Pro Network provides a free job board where Pro Xtra members can find and hire skilled tradespeople and job seekers can build profiles and connect with employers.

SCHOLARSHIP OPTIONS AND THE CURRICULA

One of the best things that many are not aware is that there is a scholarship you can apply for. Through partnerships with organizations such as the SkillPointe Foundation, Home Depot offers scholarships that make trade school education more accessible. Home Depot also has teamed up with HBI and Construction Ready to bring practical, skill-focused learning to high school students and young learners.
