Worth Loving You (Poem)

Looking back, all of my intentions were not clear,

it was all too subtle,

and I don't know why my heart skips a beat when I hear your name,

but there's no mistake it was worth loving you,

cause you woke me up.

Here I am, looking at a new sunset,

watching the waves come into view,

I'll never forget how you made me feel,

it was worth loving you,

and I thank you for waking me up from a thousand heart breaks,

preparing me for the one.
